Dear Classmates:

The Class of 1961 has the following events planned:

Friday - June 25, 2010

Registration will be at the HS Commons from 9:00 – 5:00 pm

The Retired Teacher Reception will be in the HS Band Room from 2:00-3:00 . Hopefully, some of our former teachers will be available for us to visit.

We will meet with the Classes of 1958, 1959, 1960, 1962 and 1963 at the River Room from 7:00-10:30. Stairs or an elevator is available to get upstairs. There will be a light buffet and beverages plus a cash bar. This will give us the opportunity to renew old friendships across many classes. The River Room is upstairs in the building located at Oak and National, across the street North of the Nu-Grille. This is the place where we roller skated when we were in our youth. The main floor, which was once Vince Owens Pontiac, is now a new restaurant named The Buffalo Grill. The basement housed a bowling alley where some of our classmates were probably pin setters at some point in their younger days. Be sure to attend as this will be a reunion highlight.

Saturday - June 26, 2010

Our class will meet at the Courtland Hotel from 10:30am - 2:30pm to visit with classmates, have lunch, and conduct our class meeting. Our class picture will be taken at 12:30pm. This will be our last formal class meeting for this reunion. The Courtland is at 121 East 1st St .

The Chicken Dinner catered by Chicken Annie's will be from 6:00 - 8:00 at the stadium….a good place to see more classmates. Various bands will be playing across town Friday and Saturday evenings.

Plan on breakfast at the Community College 11:00pm – 2:00am both nights.
