HELP OUT DURING LUNCH!

Students - once you have picked a to sit for lunch you need to STAY AT THAT TABLE.  DO NOT move around - stay seated unless you are tossing trash,  headed to the bathroom or asked to stand for cleaning.  If you are at all confused by this, please come see Dr Kelso in the office.

THIS week is KSHSAA Buffer Week.

No students are allowed in Gyms or the weight room outside of school hours!  Since there are no FSHS activities, there’s no Faculty Bulletin.

 

IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD YOUR SCHOOL PICTURE TAKEN YET THIS YEAR, PLEASE READ THIS (REMOTE STUDENTS, THIS MEANS YOU!):

  1.  PICK UP AN ORDER FORM FROM THE OFFICE AND FILL IT OUT BEFORE THIS  EVENING.

  2.  TAKE THAT FORM TO THE MIDDLE SCHOOL.  Photos will be taken beginning at six this evening until 8 o’clock.

SCHOOL PICTURE RETAKE INFORMATION:

Retakes begin at 8:15 this morning.

If you want a “do over,” you need to return all photos ordered or pay for new ones.  Retakes will be printed with the same background and package as the original order and are free of charge IF you return ALL of your original photos.

TODAY is the deadline to order an Art Club t-shirt!  Fill out the Google form on Google classroom (code:  olspq5s) and pick a size, pay Dr. Kelso.   Art fundraising forms and $$$ also due TODAY and can be turned in to Dr. Kelso in the office.

 

TOMORROW!  SENIORS AND SOPHOMORES: The Jostens Representative will be set up in the Auxiliary Gym tomorrow during 1st, 2nd and 3rd lunch.  Class of 2021:  during YOUR lunch, you can turn in your graduation order forms and deposit, Seniors!  Sophomores, if you have not ordered your class ring, design your ring online, www.jostens.com, print your order form and turn it in with your deposit during YOUR lunch.

 

Monday, Nov 16th, during lunch - Senior Mask Pictures!

Seniors Only.  This is a yearbook project with the purpose of collecting masked pictures of the Class of 2021 to portray the different types of masks in The Crimson.  This will NOT replace any portraits and features only seniors.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Fundraiser:

Members are taking orders for fresh baked cookies until this Wednesday.  To find out how much for how many of what kind, talk to any FCCLA member or Mrs. Bowman.

YOU ARE INVITED TO THE “SAVE YOUR GRADES!” PARTY THIS MONDAY!   

Communities in Schools and Community Christian Church are hosting a homework party and serving hotdogs beginning at 6 o’clock Monday evening in the south parking lot of the church near the playground, 1919 Horton Street in Fort Scott! 

FSHS THESPIANS PRESENT:

“The Monologue Show” by Don Zolidis.  Tickets are now available for evening performances on November 18th, 19th, and 21st.  The comedy will be performed by a group of amazingly talented FSHS Tigers in the FSHS Auditorium.  Show starts at 7 p.m. and the doors will open at 6:30. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.  Face coverings and social distancing are required.  To purchase tickets online:  fortscotthighschooltheatre.ludus.com  (limited tickets available at the door).

ATTENTION, SOPHOMORES!

Applications are now being accepted for the Hugh O'Brian Youth (HOBY) Leadership Program. The program, held on the KSU campus, is July 8th through July 11th. Please check your email and contact Mr. Messer for more information or to pick up an application. 

                                                      

PLEASE REMEMBER TO TELL YOUR 1ST HOUR TEACHER YOU’D LIKE SCHOOL BREAKFAST AND/OR SCHOOL LUNCH!

Eat free, but make sure you are counted so enough food is prepared.  For your sack lunch, milk is only $.50 a carton.

Breakfast:  mini bagels, graham snack, juice, milk

Lunch:  teriyaki chicken, rice, steamed broccoli, mandarin oranges, milk

Tomorrow:

Breakfast:  breakfast pizza, juice, milk

Lunch:  walking tacos (Don’t let ‘em get away!  I heard they speed walk.) with your choice of Fritos or Doritos, lettuce, tomato, corn, banana, milk
