 Happy Birthday!  Sterrett Bryant!

Christmas has come and gone; however, we have one more gift for you!  This afternoon, your AP teacher will give you a packet of FIVE masks.  These are washable, reusable masks!  Outside of mask breaks and eating lunch, you are required to wear face coverings correctly, covering both the mouth and nose,  in accordance with the school dress code.  Not doing so will result in detention.

Here are a few reminders from Dr. Kelso as we begin second semester:

SECOND BREAKFAST

  1. You need to be counted FIRST HOUR to eat breakfast, which is at the end of second hour.

  2. You MUST have your planner signed/stamped by your first hour teacher to be dismissed for breakfast.

  3. If you come to the Commons for second breakfast, you must stay there until the bell rings.

LUNCH PROCEDURES

  1. FOUR (4) people to any table group. The only exception is the tables in the aux gym that seat TWO (2) only.

  2. You need to stay seated unless you are tossing trash or asking to use the restroom.

  3. Once permission is granted to go to the bathroom, just be aware you may have to wait - only two people are allowed in the bathroom at any time.

  4. Your mask must stay on going through the lunch line and put back on after eating.

SMART PASS

  1. You must create a smartpass to leave any classroom.

  2. Check with your teacher before you simply leave.

  3. Be aware some teachers have specific protocols, so make sure you know WHEN it’s okay to interrupt class with a smartpass request.

  4. Make sure you END your pass when you get back to the classroom.

MASKS

  1. Masks must be worn and worn correctly (covering mouth and nose) at all times during the school day.

  2. The only exception for mask wearing is during lunch once you’ve gone through the line and if you request a mask break from a teacher.

  3. Each teacher has a specific process for a mask break so make sure you know what that process is for each class.

DRESS CODE

Make sure you are in compliance with the dress code which does NOT ALLOW head coverings of any type and DOES REQUIRE MASKS that cover your mouth and nose!  DETENTIONS WILL BE ISSUED FOR NON-COMPLIANCE!
