School starts at 7:45 each morning!
three tardies = 30 minutes detention
four tardies = 60 minutes detention
five tardies = 60 minutes detention, teacher-initiated parent contact and an unexcused absence
six tardies = unexcused absence, parent conference with Dr. Kelso and initiation of board-approved truancy policy
seven or more tardies = 1 day ISS with an additional day of ISS for each tardy above seven
Dr. Kelso, Assistant Principal, will honor all detentions issued.

MEAT RAFFLE!
Fort Scott High School Junior Class After Prom Party Committee is holding a fundraiser to raise money for the 2021 After-Prom party. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.
On Thursday, January 31st, three winning tickets will be drawn for these prizes:

SECOND BREAKFAST PROCEDURES
You need to be counted FIRST HOUR to eat breakfast, which is at the end of second hour.
You MUST have your planner signed/stamped by your first hour teacher to be dismissed for breakfast.
If you come to the Commons for second breakfast, you must stay there until the bell rings.
LUNCH PROCEDURES
FOUR (4) people to any table group. The only exception is the tables in the aux gym that seat TWO (2) only.
You need to stay seated unless you are tossing trash or asking to use the restroom.
Once permission is granted to go to the bathroom, just be aware you may have to wait - only two people are allowed in the bathroom at any time.
Your mask must stay on going through the lunch line and put back on after eating.
SCHOOL MEALS ARE FREE FOR THE REST OF THE SCHOOL YEAR!
Please be counted by your first hour teacher.
Breakfast today is cereal and milk, graham snack and juice.
Lunch is salisbury steak with brown gravy and mashed potatoes, green beans, rosy applesauce, wheat roll and milk.
Tuesday’s Breakfast: zucchini bread, applesauce, juice, milk
Tuesday’s Lunch: corndog, curly fries, baked beans, sidekicks icee, milk
DRESS CODE REMINDER:
Make sure you are in compliance with the dress code which does NOT ALLOW head coverings of any type and DOES REQUIRE MASKS that cover your mouth and nose! DETENTIONS WILL BE ISSUED FOR NON-COMPLIANCE!
