Esports Update from Coach Glades:

New Esports Season starts today for the game Marvel Rivals! We will be playing on Thursday afternoons at 4 o’clock for the next eight weeks. This season is different than the KSHSAA season as this is a regional league. This means we will be playing teams in the central US. 

Starting today, Marvel Rivals Red Team will be facing off against Lancaster High School  of Lancaster, Texas. Marvel Rivals White Team is facing off against Northeast Magnet High School of Wichita. Go Tigers!

Valentine deliveries will be kept in the Art Gallery.  You can pick up your delivery before you leave the building for the day.  Check the list at the Art Gallery and if your name is highlighted, you’ve received a delivery.

During breakfast and lunch breaks, Thespians will take your order(s). For just $3, a can of Crush soda, a ring pop and a Valentine’s message will be delivered by the thespians to your special someone here at school.

Important reminder for Seniors and Juniors:

If you are going to prom on April 18th at the River Room, you need to pay Mrs. Knopp $50 this week to avoid paying more next week!

Want to be a part of the Tiger Track this Spring? Coach Bogina is hosting a meeting Tuesday, February 17th, in the aux gym during PM Tiger Time.  This meeting is for both Tigers and Lady Tigers who want to run track or participate in field events.

2026 Scholarship Deadlines

Winter Formal is a week from this Saturday, 2/21/2026, 7PM - 10PM, at FSHS!

  • To attend, you must be a current FSHS student in good standing. 

  • Students on the ineligible list will not be able to attend. 

  • Students need to be in school the day of the dance, unless an administrator has given approval.

  • ***Dates are welcome if they’re still in high school (or graduated at semester in the current school year). 

    • ***(NEW THIS YEAR - for all dances, including Prom)

  • Breathalyzers will be used at the door. 

  • Out-of-district dates must be signed up in the office and a completed guest permission form needs to be submitted to Pam in the office by February 16th.

  • Cost to attend Winter Formal is $5 per student.

If you are interested in being a part of Tiger Cheer or Dance, please attend the meeting after school on Thursday, February 26th. The meeting will begin at 3:15 p.m. in the commons.

Upper Art Class Applications are open! Photography is open to students who will be Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors next year. The classes of Studio Exploration Project Management and AP Studio Art are only available to Juniors and Seniors. Applications are in a folder on the art room door and the deadline to apply is Friday, February 27th.

Please check the lost and found table by the drink machines in the commons area. There are several items that need to be claimed. 

Also, all of the clothes hanging on the rack by the drink machines are gently used items that have been donated by the community. If you see something you like, please feel free to grab it! Help yourselves! 

Need help finding the right prom dress? The Fairy Godmother Boutique is hosting a shopping/fitting event on Saturday, February 21st, at CHC/SEK in Pittsburg.
