9/11/2026 Aidan received the Kindness Heart Award for sharing toys with a friend! That was so helpful and kind!!!

Car Riders at Winfield Scott- Chip and Seal work was not completed today due to rain, so it has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Friday). AM pick-up and PM drop-off will be on the east side of the building at the ramp. PM pick-up will be in its regular location on the west side of the building. This will be for tomorrow only.

9/10/2026 Roper received the Kindness Heart Award for using kind words to his teachers and friends! That was so nice and kind!! Way to go Roper showing good manners!!!

This Friday, September 4th, is a Child Find day. There will be no preschool classes tomorrow! There is also no school on Monday, September 7th - Labor Day. Have a great weekend!

9/3/2026 Haze received the Kindness Heart Award for showing a friend how to play at the sensory table. That was so helpful and kind!

9/2/2026 Baylor received the Kindness Heart Award for helping a friend clean up a mess. Such a helpful and kind thing to do! Way to go!!

9/1/2026 Hayven received the Kindness Heart Award for telling a friend that they could share the toy she was playing with. What a way to be a kind friend!!

8/21/2026 Charlie received the Kindness Heart Award for raising her hand with a bubble in her mouth then when her name was called she asked for more water. Waiting her turn is so very helpful and kind!

8/21/2026 Collin received thw Kindness Heart Award for using his big voice to ask for help! Way to go!!!

Please make plans to join our Open House tomorrow from 5:00 to 6:30! Mrs. Hurd's and Mrs. Miles' classes will be at the Preschool Center, 409 S. Judson Street. Mrs. Heckman's and Ms. Turner's classes will be in the kindergarten pod at Winfield Scott, 316 W. 10th Street.

We're excited to welcome students and families to our Open House on Tuesday, August 11th from 5:00-6:30! Mrs. Hurd's and Mrs. Miles' classes will be at the Preschool Center, 409 S. Judson Street. Mrs. Heckman's and Ms. Turner's classes will be in the kindergarten pod at Winfield Scott, 316 W. 10th Street.

Fort Scott Preschool Center will be purchasing all school supplies again this year. Families will only need to provide a backpack.

05/08/2026 Maria received the Kindness Heart Award for coloring pictures for her classmates, teacher and staff. She always trys to offer her art work to others or put it into their back packs to surprise them.. We enjoy seeing her show kindness to others!

5/8/2026 Evander received the Kindness Heart Award for raising his hand then waiting his turn to take his breakfast trash to the can. He then got a book and went to his spot on the carpet. It's always kind to show patience!

5/8/2026 Alijah received the Kindness Heart Award for using his walking feet in our classroom and halls. He shows others by leading as an example. Great work!
