Fort Scott Community College will host a Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday November 11, 2025 from 5:45 pm - 6:45 pm in the Ellis Auditorium on the FSCC Campus. This meeting will highlight FSCC's new Student Services and Academic/CTE Programs. Workforce Industry member, Community members, and Parents are encouraged to attend to share their ideas on new Academic/CTE programs, or new Certification programs from FSCC.

The FSHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be sponsoring a Pumpkin Drop-Off from now until mid-November. Drop your sad or unwanted pumpkins off at 5 Corners and place them in the trailer located there. Proceeds will go to FCA.

The FSHS Zero Reasons Why organization will be holding a fundraiser at Papa Don's Pizza on Wednesday November 5th. A portion of all sales will go to FSHS Zero Reasons Why. Come on out and support a great cause!

Good luck to the FSHS Boys and Girls Cross Country teams! They will be competing at the 4A State Cross Country meet tomorrow in Wamego. The girls race begins at 10:35, while the boys will run at 12:20.

FSHS Tiger Football will head to Tonganoxie tonight to take on the Tonganoxie Chieftains in the Week 9 game to start the post-season. Fans can enter the stadium through the SE, SW, and NW corners of the stadium and the visitor seating section is on the east side. There will be a State Send-off for our State Qualifying Cross Country teams on Friday as they head to Wamego for the 4A State Cross Country meet on Saturday. Both Boys and Girls team will leave the high school at 2:15 and will head down National Street on their way out of town. The community is encouraged to line National and cheer them on as they head to State!

Sub-State pairings have been announced for Volleyball. Fort Scott will take on Bishop Miege Saturday at Chanute High School. The winner will face Chanute in the next match, with Independence and Louisburg playing on the other side of the bracket. The full bracket is available at www.kshsaa.org. Go Tigers!!!

The FSHS Soccer team will play their final home game of the season tonight vs. Paola at Frary Field. JV will play one half at 4:30, followed by the Varsity game at approximately 5:20. Congratulations to the FSHS Cross Country team! The FSHS Girls finished in 1st place in the team standings at the SEK League meet in Coffeyville yesterday. They also had 4 individual medalists: Alli Wheeler-3rd, Kodi Casper-5th, Rylee Loercher-8th, and Bristol Marsh-9th. The FSHS Boys team finished in 4th place, and Lincoln Fess earned a medal with a 6th place finish. The Tigers will be back in action at the Regional Meet in Neodesha on October 25th.


FSHS Cross Country will be competing in the SEK League Meet today @ Coffeyville. JV race is at 4:00 followed by Varsity Girls at 4:30 and Varsity Boys at 5:00. The course is located at Pfister Park in Coffeyville. Go Tigers!!!
