FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS!!! Girard Medical Center of Fort Scott will be offering FREE sports physicals for Fort Scott High School and Middle School students for the 2025-2026 school year. There will be three dates: June 16th from 3:00 - 5:00, July 1st from 10 am - 4 pm, and July 8th from 10 am - 4 pm. Girard Medical Center of Fort Scott is located at 1624 S. National in Fort Scott. KSHSAA forms must be completed with the student's medical history and signed by their parent/guardian. All students planning to participate in a sport during the school year must have an updated physical dated after May 1st before they are cleared to participate.


Fort Scott High School is excited to offer a semester-long Driver's Education program for students enrolled at FSHS during the upcoming school year. The Kansas Softball Coaches Association released this week their 2025 All-State Softball teams. The Fort Scott Tigers had three players selected to the 4A All-State Team:
Allie Brown - 1st Team Infielder
Allie Wheeler - 1st Team Outfielder
Abbie Gorman - Honorable Mention Outfielder
Congratulations to these three players and all of the Tigers on an outstanding season!

The Kansas Association of Baseball Coaches recently released their All-State teams. The Fort Scott Tigers had four players named to the 4A All-State team:
Lennox Vann - 1st Team Middle Infielder
Dub Chipman - 1st Team Pitcher
Brady Messer - Honorable Mention Pitcher
Kanin Brown - Honorable Mention Middle Infielder
Also, Fort Scott Head Coach Josh Regan was named the 4A Coach of the Year! The Tigers finished the season 28-3 and 4A State Champions!


Congratulations to FSHS Baseball Coach Josh Regan on being named 2025 SEK League Baseball Coach of the Year. The Tigers were Undefeated SEK League Champions, Regional Champions, and won the program's first State Championship in school history last week in Salina, finishing with a 28-3 record on the year.


Congratulations to FSHS Softball Coach Danny Renfro on being named 2025 SEK League Softball Coach of the Year. The Softball team finished with a record of 25-6, Regional Champions, and 3rd place finish at the State Tournament in Salina last week.

The FSHS Girls Track and Field State Team will have a State Send-Off Friday morning at 8:15 am at FSHS. The team will leave at 8:30 from the High School and will head down National to Wall Street on their way to the State Track Meet in Wichita. Come out and wish them luck!

There will be a State Send-Off Wednesday for the FSHS Softball and Baseball teams that will be playing in the State Tournaments Thursday and Friday in Salina. Both teams will be at the high school at 12:40 and will leave at 1:00. They will travel down National Street to Wall on their way out of town. Come out and wish them good luck in Salina!


Fort Scott High School Track and Field competed at the Louisburg Regional last week. The Tigers had 3 athletes qualify for the 4A State Track Meet on May 30th and May 31st at Wichita State University: Annabelle Gorman in Pole Vault, Kylie Comstock in High Jump, and Jocelyn Fess in the 1600. There will be a State Send-Off for the team on Friday at 8:15 at Fort Scott High School. The team will leave the high school at 8:30 and head down National to Wall Street.

The brackets have been set for the 4A State Softball and Baseball Tournaments this week in Salina.
The FSHS Softball team is the #6 seed and will play #3 seed Chapman Thursday at 5 pm at Salina South High School. If they win they would play the winner of Eudora-Rock Creek on Friday at 1:00.
The FSHS Baseball team is the #2 seed and will face the #7 seed Abilene at 11 am Thursday at Dean Evans Stadium in Salina. If they win they would play the winner of Paola-Clay Center on Friday at 11 am.
