Spring Sports parent meetings for Fort Scott High School will be held Wednesday February 25th at 6:00. For parents of all athletes participating in a Spring sport. The Boys Golf meeting will be held Thursday February 26th at 5:30 in the Auditorium.

FSHS Basketball travels to Altamont tonight to take on Labette County in SEK League play. Varsity Girls will start at 6:00, followed by Varsity Boys around 7:30. JV Boys and Girls both play at 4:30, with the boys playing in the Aux Gym. The C Boys will play at 5:45, also in the Aux Gym. The C Girls game will start around 7:30 and will be 2 quarters. The Kansas Football Coaches Association has announced their 2026 Hall of Fame Class, and former Fort Scott Tiger Head Coach Bob Campbell will be one of the inductees!
Coach Campbell was the head coach at FSHS from 1992-2005, and then again from 2010-2018 (23 years total). He finished with an overall record of 186 wins and 63 losses, a 75% winning percentage. Under his leadership the Tigers were State runner-ups in 1999 (5A), 2001, and 2002, and State Champions in 1996 and 2000. In a 10 year span from 1996 - 2005, Coach Campbell's teams were 105-17 with 5 state title game appearances and 2 championships!

Fort Scott High School would like to give special recognition to Junior Allie Wards! Allie organized a Cancer Awareness Week this week, full of activities and fundraising opportunities to help raise awareness and money for Care to Share. She was able to collect over $1,000 to go directly to Care to Share! Allie presented the check to representatives from Care to Share today at an all school assembly. Great job Allie!

FSHS Girls Wrestling will be competing today and tomorrow at the 4A Girls Wrestling Regional in Tonganoxie. Wrestling begins at 1 pm Friday and 10 am Saturday. Tickets are $8 adults and $6 K-12 students. Digital tickets are also available at the following links:

If you are coming to watch basketball at FSHS tonight, there are plenty of extra things going on to keep you entertained! At 4:30 in the commons the FSHS Honor Flight will be hosting a potato feed until 6:30. In between the varsity games there will be a "Minute to Give It" in coordination with the FSHS student-led Cancer Awareness Week. Buckets will be passed around the crowd and all money collected will go to Care to Share. Finally, at halftime of the boys game the FSRC Tiger Kids will have a cheer performance. Come on out and enjoy a fun night, help some great causes, and support the Tigers!!!

Tiger Wrestling in the afternoon today! FSHS is hosting an Assembly Wrestling Dual vs. Nevada at 2:00 in the FSHS Main Gym. The girls will wrestle on the north end and the boys on the south.
