State Send-off today at 12:40 at high school. Teams will leave and head downtown at 1:00.



FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS!!! Girard Medical Center of Fort Scott will be offering FREE sports physicals for Fort Scott High School and Middle School students for the 2025-2026 school year. There will be three dates: June 16th from 3:00 - 5:00, July 1st from 10 am - 4 pm, and July 8th from 10 am - 4 pm. Girard Medical Center of Fort Scott is located at 1624 S. National in Fort Scott. KSHSAA forms must be completed with the student's medical history and signed by their parent/guardian. All students planning to participate in a sport during the school year must have an updated physical dated after May 1st before they are cleared to participate.


There will be a State Send-Off Wednesday for the FSHS Softball and Baseball teams that will be playing in the State Tournaments Thursday and Friday in Salina. Both teams will be at the high school at 12:40 and will leave at 1:00. They will travel down National Street to Wall on their way out of town. Come out and wish them good luck in Salina!


Fort Scott High School Track and Field competed at the Louisburg Regional last week. The Tigers had 3 athletes qualify for the 4A State Track Meet on May 30th and May 31st at Wichita State University: Annabelle Gorman in Pole Vault, Kylie Comstock in High Jump, and Jocelyn Fess in the 1600. There will be a State Send-Off for the team on Friday at 8:15 at Fort Scott High School. The team will leave the high school at 8:30 and head down National to Wall Street.

The brackets have been set for the 4A State Softball and Baseball Tournaments this week in Salina.
The FSHS Softball team is the #6 seed and will play #3 seed Chapman Thursday at 5 pm at Salina South High School. If they win they would play the winner of Eudora-Rock Creek on Friday at 1:00.
The FSHS Baseball team is the #2 seed and will face the #7 seed Abilene at 11 am Thursday at Dean Evans Stadium in Salina. If they win they would play the winner of Paola-Clay Center on Friday at 11 am.

State Send-Off today for our State Golfers! The FSHS Boys Golf team will be starting at Sonic today at 11 am, and will head up National Street around 11:10. Come on out and line National to wish them luck as they travel to Newton to compete at the 4A State Golf Tournament tomorrow and Wednesday!


Good luck to FSHS Swimmer Avery Stewart as she competes today in the KSHSAA 5-1A State Swim Meet in Topeka! She will be competing in the 50 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke. There will be a send-off this morning at 10 am to wish Avery and her teammates from NE Arma and St. Mary's Colgan that will also be competing. They will leave the high school at 10 and head down National to Wall Street.


Regional Baseball Gameday! Fort Scott will host a KSHSAA 4A Regional today at LaRoche Baseball Complex. Games start at 2:00. The winner of today's Regional will punch the final ticket to the 4A State Tournament in Salina next week. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for students. No passes accepted. Go Tigers!!!

Regional Baseball in Fort Scott was postponed today and will be played Thursday at the LaRoche Baseball Complex. Atchison will play Wamego at 2:00, followed by Fort Scott vs. Coffeyville. The Championship Game will start at approximately 6:15. This is a KSHSAA event so no passes will be accepted.


Congratulations to the FSHS Softball Team! 3rd straight Regional Championship! The Lady Tigers defeated Labette County 13-0 and Topeka Hayden 6-4 to advance to the 4A State Softball Tournament in Salina May 29th and 30th. More details to come later about the State Tournament.

Regional Softball Gameday! The Fort Scott Lady Tigers will be hosting a 4A Regional at Fort Scott Community College's Ty Cullor Field today starting at 3:00. Fort Scott will play the 2nd game vs. Labette County. The Championship game will start around 6:00. This is a KSHSAA post-season event: admission is $8 for adults and $6 for students K-12. No passes accepted. Concession stand will be available. Go Tigers!!!

KSHSAA Regional brackets have been released for Baseball and Softball. Fort Scott will be hosting both Regionals this week. Softball will play Tuesday at Fort Scott Community College starting at 3:00 with Topeka Hayden taking on Paola. 25 minutes following that game Fort Scott will face Labette County. The Championship game will be held 25 minutes after Game 2.

Congratulations to the FSHS Girls Swim team on finishing in 3rd place at the InterLeague Girls Swim meet in Osawatomie yesterday. Also, special congratulations to FSHS Girls Swim coach Madeline Martin on being named the League Coach of the Year for 2025!



The FSHS Track and Field team will be competing at the SEK League Track meet today at Labette County High School. Field events start at 3:30, running event prelims at 5:15 and finals at 6:00. Go Tigers!!!


FSHS Baseball is at home tonight vs. Chanute to wrap up the regular season. Varsity game at 4:30 followed by the JV. It is Senior Night, and a ceremony will be held between games. Go Tigers!!!
