The Fort Scott High School Flight of Honor, an affiliate of Parsons, Chetopa, St. Paul Honor Flight, is looking for dedicated Student Guardians to accompany our veterans on an unforgettable trip to Washington, D.C. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for students to honor our local heroes, provide companionship and support throughout the journey, and create lasting memories while serving our community.

FSHS Tiger Football will be in Louisburg tonight for the Louisburg Preseason Jamboree. The Tigers will scrimmage Washburn Rural at 7:00, Frontenac at 7:40, and Louisburg at 8:20. Fort Scott will be on the North side of the field for the first two and then move to the South end for the final scrimmage. There is no admission charge for the jamboree, and a concession stand will be available. Go Tigers!!!

The FSHS Girls Golf team starts their season today at the Uniontown JV Tournament at Woodland Hills Golf Course in Fort Scott. They will tee off at 3:00. Go Tigers!!!

The FSHS Girls Tennis team starts their season today at the Parsons Varsity Invitational. Matches start at 3:00. Go Tigers!!!

FSHS Volleyball will be at Pittsburg High School tonight for the Preseason Jamboree. The Lady Tigers will scrimmage Pittsburg at 5:00, St. Mary's Colgan at 5:45, and Frontenac at 6:30. Go Tigers!!!

The FSHS Tiger Soccer team will be at Chanute today for the Preseason Jamboree. The JV will begin at 3:00 and will play three 20 minute scrimmages. The Varsity will do the same starting at 6:00. Go Tigers!!!

The Fort Scott High School Soccer team will travel to Chanute on Tuesday August 26th to participate in the Chanute Jamboree. The JV will begin at 3:00 with the Varsity beginning at around 6:00. The Tigers will open their regular season at home on September 2nd in their first ever home game at Frary Field!

The 2025 Tiger Football team will be having an open scrimmage Saturday morning at 9 am at Frary Field. Come out and support the Tigers as they prepare for the upcoming season! Kick off the school year at the annual FSHS Open Mic Night on Friday, Aug. 22 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Common Ground. Students can bring a talent (singing, dancing, jokes, poetry, skits, etc) or just come watch and laugh with friends. Free admission and treats. Sponsored by Thespians.

REMINDER: Fall Sports Parent Meetings tonight in the FSHS Auditorium at 6:00. For parents of all students participating in a Fall sport this year. Parents will report to the auditorium first before breaking out into their team meetings. We encourage at least one parent of Fall athletes to attend.

Tardy Policy - punishments begin at the 4th tardy per semester.
Cell Phone Policy - breakfast break was added to the times that cell phones CANNOT be used. Students will only be able to use them before school, during lunch, or after school.
Open Lunch Policy - All students will be allowed to leave campus daily for lunch if they choose to, including Freshmen. Habitually returning from lunch late will be cause for that privilege to be revoked.

Just a reminder: all students participating in a Fall sport at FSHS must have a completed physical and concussion turned in before practices start on August 18th. If you already have the physical completed please turn in the forms at the FSHS office as soon as possible!
