Last Thursday, at the Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner and Award Ceremony, our own Superintendent Destry Brown was recognized as the 2023 Business Person of the Year.
This award is given to professionals who personify all the traits desired in a “great”
business person. They demonstrates a dedication to their business, their community, their family, and friends.

Today is the E3 Ranch Foundation Warrior Parade. The convoy will start at LaRoche Baseball Complex and travel down National and Wall Street starting around 1:30 pm. Make a sign, wave a flag, salute, or just wave as we honor these brave Warriors!

Tiger Families: Starting April 1, 2023 (THIS WEEK) state Medicaid agencies will begin reviews to determine whether patients are eligible to renew coverage. Most of those covered by Medicaid in Kansas are children. Watch your mail and respond quickly to requests for more information.

FSMS-Required state testing will begin next Tuesday and Wednesday for English Language Arts. Testing will occur for all 6th-8th grade students. We encourage students to get a quality night sleep the night before along with a quality breakfast.

National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) celebrates the importance of a nutritious school breakfast in fueling students for success. This special observance during the first week of March celebrates the national School Breakfast Program and the many ways it gives kids a great start every day.
