As we approach Thanksgiving Break, we want to express our gratitude to each of our families for allowing us to work with your children. We are proud of the growth all of our students have made so far this school year.
During this season of reflection and appreciation, we want to take a moment to say “Thank you!” for everything you do to support our students, our staff, and our wonderful school community.
Thanksgiving Break is next week, November 25th-29th. School will be back in session on December 2nd. We wish you and your family a safe, joyful, and restful break!

Good afternoon Prescchool parents, I have been asked to remind you that if your child participated in the fund raiser and sold items, they are to be picked up at Winfield Scott School. Friday 11/8/2024 between 3:30 - 5:00 in the cafeteria.
10/29/2024 Kurt received the Kindness Heart Award for seeing a friend who had spilled a box of colored pencils. Kurt got up immediately and went to help his friend pick them up. Such a helpful friend!
Preschool Parents/Guardians- Kenny Felt will be at the preschool center on Tuesday, November 19th for picture retakes. If you would like retakes or your student did not get their picture taken on the original picture day, please call the preschool office at (620) 223-8965 so we know how many students plan to have their pictures taken that day.
11/05/2024 Ari received the Kindness Heart Award for being very respectful of what his friends had already built in the block area. He walked around and built in the other side!
11/5/2024 Magnolia received the Kindness Heart Award for helping a friend set their bike back up when it fell over on the playground. That was so kind!

Reminder for Preschool Parents/Guardians: USD 234's annual Early Childhood Trunk-or-Treat is tonight! Preschool staff and community partners will be giving out prizes, candy, and resources in the preschool gym. Children ages birth through 6 and their families are welcome to come and go between 4:30 and 6:00.
