Wednesday, May 17th, was a day of celebrations for USD 234. Faculty and staff started the day with our District Wellness Fair promoting physical, mental, and financial wellness. Our Tiger family learned from sessions, participated in team-building, and had some time to try some fun physical activities. After lunch, awards were presented, we celebrated academic growth of our students, and honored retirees & those reaching milestones with their years of service.
It was a great day to be a Tiger!

It was a great day to be a Tiger at the Regional Special Olympics Track and Field event yesterday! Approximately 48 students from 2nd grade to 12th grade competed from Fort Scott. Our very own Carter Collier led the Kansas Law Enforcement Torch Run to kick off the event. The mission of the Special Olympics is to give the students continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in sports.
