FSHS Summer Volleyball practice begins Tuesday morning at 10 am in the FSHS Main Gym. For all girls entering grades 9-12 that are planning to play Volleyball this year.
Frontenac Summer League, for incoming Juniors and Seniors, begins on Monday June 3rd at 3 pm. Those planning to attend need to bring their registration fee and sign up sheet to practice tomorrow.

State Send-Off for the FSHS Girls Track team Thursday at 9:40 at FSHS. The team will leave at 10:00 am and head down National to Wall Street. The community is invited to come out and cheer on the Lady Tiger Track team on their way to Wichita and the State Track Meet!
The KSHSAA State Track Meet begins Friday at 7:45 am at Wichita State University. Fort Scott qualified six girls to compete: Kylie Comstock - High Jump; Keegan Yarick - 800; Jocelyn Fess, Jill Belcher, Mesa Casper, and Keegan Yarick - 4x800; Jocelyn Fess, Kylee Comstock, Sydney Pruitt, and Keegan Yarick - 4x400. For spectators attending there is information located on the KSHSAA website. For those not attending you can watch the entire track meet on the NFHS Network at www.nfhsnetwork.com (subscription required). Go Tigers!!!

The FSHS Boys Golf Team will be competing at the 4A State Tournament at Turkey Creek Golf Course in McPherson on Monday and Tuesday. Play begins Monday at 9 am.
Fort Scott will begin their tee times at 10 am: Teegan Stiles 10 am; Reegan McDaniel 10:10; Colson Gulager 10:20; Sutton Horn 10:30; Caleb Hall 10:40; and Reece Roberts at 10:50. You can follow live scoring updates all tournament long at kansasgolfscores.com.

The bracket for the 4A State Softball Tournament in Salina on May 23rd and 24th has been released.
Fort Scott is the #5 seed and will play the #4 seed Towanda-Circle in the first round at 1:00 on Thursday May 23rd.
If Fort Scott wins in the first round, they will play the winner of Scott City/Andale-Garden Plain on Friday May 24th at 11 am. The 3rd place game will be at 3:00 and the championship game at 5:00.
All games in the tournament will be played at Salina South High School, Field A.

Sports physicals will be offered by CHC/SEK at Fort Scott High School on Tuesday May 21st and Wednesday May 22nd from 9 am - 4 pm in the FSHS Aux Gym. Tuesday the 21st is for High School athletes, and Wednesday the 22nd is for Middle School athletes. Enter the East main doors at FSHS.
All students planning to participate in a sport at FSMS or FSHS next year must have a physical done and the proper paperwork signed in order to participate.
4A Regional Baseball Tournament today at LaRoche Baseball Complex in Fort Scott. Fort Scott will play Bishop Miege at around 4:00/4:15. The first game of the day is Chanute vs. Tonganoxie at 2:00. KSHSAA post-season event: admission is $8 adults, $6 students K-12. No passes. Go Tigers!!!

REGIONAL SOFTBALL IN FORT SCOTT TODAY HAS BEEN MOVED TO FORT SCOTT COMMUNITY COLLEGE - TY CULLOR FIELD.
Atchison will play El Dorado at 3:00, followed by Fort Scott vs. Augusta around 4:30. Championship game will be around 6:15/6:30.

REGIONAL GOLF UPDATE:
Regional Golf at Chanute scheduled for Monday has been postponed until Tuesday due to possible rain in Chanute.
The KSHSAA Regional brackets for Baseball and Softball have been released.
Both Fort Scott High School teams will host a Regional tournament.
Softball will play on Tuesday May 14th at Fisher Park. The tournament will start at 3:00 with #6 seed Atchison playing #11 seed El Dorado. The #3 seed Fort Scott will play #14 seed Augusta 25 minutes after the first game is complete (approximately 4:45). The championship game will take place around 6:45.
Baseball will play Wednesday May 15th at LaRoche Baseball Complex. At 2:00 the #5 seed Chanute will play #12 Tonganoxie. 25 minutes after the conclusion of that game the #4 seed Fort Scott takes on #13 seed Bishop Miege (approximately 4:15). The championship game will be held around 6:30.
More details about the Regionals will be released in the coming days.

The Graduation ceremony for the Fort Scott High School Class of 2024 will be held Saturday, May 11th at 8:00 at Frary Field. Gates will open at 6:30.
Fort Scott High School will be sending 3 tennis players to the 4A State Tennis Tournament this Friday and Saturday in Topeka. Junior Jaxen DeMott will be participating in Singles, while Freshmen Raj Gugnani and Landon McDaniel will be competing in Doubles. Go Tigers!!!
