
Congratulations to FSHS Golfers Alyssa Hunt and Luci Dunkeson on qualifying for the 4A State Golf Tournament! Alyssa finished in 6th place at the Fort Scott Regional yesterday, while Luci finished in 12th place. They will compete next Monday and Tuesday, October 21st and 22nd, in Hesston.


Lady Tiger Volleyball at Coffeyville today in SEK League action. 5:00 vs. Coffeyville, 6:00 vs. Parsons. Varsity and JV will play at Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville (1110 W. 8th), Freshmen will play in new gym on Northeast corner of campus. Varsity matches streamed on Nado Live YouTube channel. Congratulations to the FSHS Girls Tennis team on qualifying four for the State Tournament next weekend in Topeka! Abbie Gorman finished 2nd in Singles at the Parsons Regional on Saturday. Bryleigh Hymer also qualified by finishing in 6th place. In Doubles, Annabelle Gorman and Caroline Barnes finished in 5th place to also qualify for State. The State Tournament will start on Friday October 18th and will finish on Saturday October 19th.


Fort Scott High School and Woodland Hills Golf Course will be hosting the KSHSAA 4A Girls Golf Regional on Monday. Tee times begin at 9 am. Jonny O's Nashville Hot Chicken and Burgers food truck will be on site for spectators to enjoy. Come on out and watch our Lady Tiger golfers compete for a chance to go to the State Tournament in Hesston next week!


Schedule Change for Tiger Football for Monday October 14th - there will now only be one game played at home Monday. It will be a Freshman/Sophomore game vs. Chanute at 5:30.


We have a few changes to the upcoming Freshmen and JV Football schedule. On Monday 10/14 the Freshmen will host Girard at 4:30 and the JV will play Chanute at 6:30. On 10/21 the Freshmen will travel to Wellsville for a 4:30 kickoff, and the JV will still travel to Circle as originally scheduled. Go Tigers!!!


FSHS Tiger Soccer, coming off a win over Paola last week, will travel to Parsons today for a Varsity only contest vs. the Vikings. 4:30 start at Parsons High School. Go Tigers!!!

Congratulations to Fort Scott High School Senior Caroline Barnes on being named a 2024 College Board National Recognition Program Awardee!
Caroline earned this academic honor because of her GPA of 3.5 or higher and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and/or AP Exams. She is being recognized as part of the National Rural/Small Town Recognition Program. Award winners are given the opportunity to include this academic honor on their college applications, and many colleges intentionally recruit awardees through College Board's Student Search Service.
