NEW FOR HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL THIS SEASON: KSHSAA is allowing schools to use a shot clock for VARSITY GAMES ONLY as part of a pilot trial. All SEK League schools will be using the shot clock so it will be used Tuesday night at Parsons. It will not be used during KSHSAA post-season games this year.


ATTENTION TIGER BASKETBALL FANS: If you are traveling to Parsons tomorrow for Tiger Basketball, please be aware that the Parsons High School FCCLA is sponsoring two different charity drives at the game. There will be a toy drive and a canned food drive, and you are invited to participate to help both causes. Please consider donating to one or both causes!

Congratulations to the FSHS Esports Halo Red Team on finishing in 3rd place in the HSEL Halo National Playoffs! The Tigers defeated Traverse City (MI) Central High School by the score of 4-0 in a best of 7 match to capture 3rd place! Congratulations to coaches Matt Glades and Tyler Slinkard and the Halo Red squad: Daetyn Fowler, Devlin Cole, Rylan Miller, Tristan Johnson, and Tynce Joles!

Fall Semester Finals at Fort Scott High School will take place Wednesday December 18th and Thursday December 19th. Students will find out Monday morning if they are exempt from taking Finals.
Out of respect for students concentrating on their final exams, students will not be dismissed from class during their class final. All call-outs will occur during passing periods.
